OK - I surrender. I must admit that I have become fairly addicted to reading everyone's blog, making comments on some and generally using these things to keep up with the latest in people's lives as well as the latest in technolgy and business (I know - big dork reads about techology and business). Here is my attempt!
This is the Heisman Run. The Heisman Trophy is the breathtaking statue given to the nation's best college fooball player. However, in true fashion of out-of-shape couch potato ESPN-head sports fans, my roomate in college gave it a new meaning. It all started outside of Tiger Stadium, the pinnacle of LSU Sports when CMudge dons the Heisman Trophy pose and to all of our surprise dodged in and out of foot traffic in true running back style. The tradition began, CMudge Heisman ran himself through another 2 1/2 seasons and through away games, apartment complex victory parites and even the 2003 Sugar Bowl in New Orleans (GEAUX TIGERS!).
Short History - Bright Future. Hopefully, you'll enjoy my attempt at blogging. Make sure to visit friends and links along your way. Oh and make sure to leave comments - serious, lighthearted, funny stories, complex alogrithms, or whatever comes to mind. Looking foward to it!

Welcome to the world of blogging! This is the definition of an addiction. As soon as I got turned onto them, I was hooked.
But when I reflect on all of the people with whom I now regular contact as a result of it, it's an addiction I welcome.
Looking forward to reading yours!

Well - we'll see how I do at this game. And as always - feel free to join in and let me know.
Yeah, CMudge is actually at U of Florida now working on the PhD in aquatics! Wow.. Dr. Mudge. He also got married a couple of months ago.
Agree to the welcomed addiction - probably one of the more healthy ones I have developed/quit over the years! It is also great to be in touch with you guys again!

I wish I could convince everyone I know to start a blog. They're just so damned fun. I hate the telephone, and e-mail can start to feel a bit cumbersome and formal at times, but blogs and comments are very much like carrying on a conversation.
I often find myself Googling old friends to see if they have blogs. That's how I found Jared on Chuck Palahniuk's website.

The blog has seemed to be more of an actual discussion than an email and that is always more enjoyable, especially for friends/relatives who are not geographically close to us.
I am glad to hear that I am not the only one who will randomly google old friends or myself for that matter!

Woah...I come back two hours later and everything is different. Don't worry, in the year that I've been blogging, I've changed my template plenty of times. It's a funny thing to find something that is pleasingt to the eye, yet is uniquely yours.
And yeah, I totally Google myself sometimes.

Also, I'm not sure how much experience you have with web design and blogs, etc. but if you have any questions about blog add-ons and the like, feel free to ask. I've done a good bit of research for different options when contemplating add-ons and extra stuff.
First up, I would highly recommend the stat counter that I currently use, and recommend implementing it upon your blog's inception. You can find instructions on installation and customization here:

I've tried several others, and this is my favorite. It is very good and they are constantly making improvements, and it's free!

Finally, you'll have to post a little about this house hunting you mentioned.

Yeah - the old switcheroo!
I acutally liked this one a little more, plus the other one didnt' give me a set place for links - this one does so I can link up my good buddies like U&P ,the Pleasantries and OTR.
I am actually a webmaster by job, so I guess I'll get a chance to prove how much I actually know (or don't) with this guy.
Househunting... agghh! Well finally got tired of paying rent and decided to go look for a house in B.R. We (Fiancee and I) feel in love with the first house we saw (trust me, we looked through everything else online and not much else compared when you throw in neighboorhood, etc.). We spent end of last week/weekend in a bidding war and the sellers came back with an absolute lowest that we aren't quite ready to commit to - so we are going to spend some more time tommorow looking at two more houses. I'll keep everyone updated!
Also, any info about the HaloScan that you use would also be appreciated.

I like Haloscan and I've been really happy with it, but since Blogger changed it's comment design, I'm not sure that I would switch.
Blogger used to have a really crappy comment system that was slow and ugly, but now they're using this neat little pop up window, with avatars on the side, and it's really neat. To be honest, I'd switch from Haloscan to Blogger, but then I'd lose all of my old comments.

All I can say for househunting is to take your time, and you'll know the right house when you see it. You may come to a house that you feel is perfect, but it will either be off the market, too expensive, or something else. Don't sweat it, because no matter how much you like it, there may be another great one just about to hit the market. There's a lot of real estate out there.
And finally, get ready for some serious headaches. They're all worth it in the end though. Just keep pushing through.
